The public is advised that the nomination deadline to choose Bermuda’s next National Hero has been extended to Friday, November 15, 2024.
The public can visit: https://forms.gov.bm/Bermuda-National-Hero-Nomination to submit their recommendation.
The public will be aware that National Heroes Day, observed annually on the third Monday in June, is a public holiday dedicated to honouring those individuals who have made lasting contributions to the island’s history and heritage. This honour represents Bermuda’s highest recognition for exceptional and enduring service to the community.
Bermuda’s induction of National Heroes began in 2009. Currently there are eight (8) National Heroes.
