The Ministry of Public Works and Environment today announced an extension to the public consultation on the Marine Resources Enforcement Strategy until Thursday, 13 November 2025.
The extension follows requests from stakeholders for additional time to provide feedback on the Strategy, which outlines a modern and coordinated approach to protecting Bermuda's ocean and marine resources.
Originally scheduled to close on 6 November, the consultation period will now run until 13 November. Members of the public are encouraged to review the Strategy and complete the online survey at forum.gov.bm.
Developed by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in partnership with other local and regional partners, the Strategy sets out a framework to strengthen enforcement, improve compliance, and ensure marine resources are managed responsibly for future generations.
The Ministry reminds the public that this consultation remains open and welcomes input from anyone with an interest in Bermuda’s marine environment.
