The Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Bermuda Regiment, Ms Rena Lalgie, was pleased to visit Warwick Camp yesterday (Feb. 15), afternoon as the Royal Bermuda Regiment (RBR) began the first of two intensive recruitment camp training programmes for their newest recruits.
During the visit, the Governor toured the facility with the Commanding Officer of the Royal Bermuda Regiment, Lt Col Benjamin Beasley BEM, and observed the courses taking place as part of the two week training camp.
The Governor was also able to engage with some of the new recruits and said, “I was impressed with the amount of men and women who have volunteered to serve with the Royal Bermuda Regiment. I wish each and every one of them all the best as they endeavor through the programme.”
