The Minister of Health, the Hon. Kim N. Wilson, JP, MP has today announced the dates of the public town hall meetings and released the Health Financing Reform Consultation Guide.
The Consultation Guide provides a description of the Bermuda Health Plan 2020 proposals, the detailed data modelling assumptions in the ‘mock plan’, and information on how to respond to the consultation.
Minister Wilson said, “I am reaching out to a wide range of stakeholders including healthcare providers, insurers, employers and patient groups to welcome and encourage meaningful, constructive dialogue. These reforms will affect us all and I need the input of everyone in the community to build solutions that work in our shared best interest. The dialogue to date has been extremely interesting; I’m hearing a range of points of view and very important perspectives. This will help us build a better health system to make Bermuda healthier.”
