The Department of Planning reminds the public that an information session on development within the Town of St. George’s will take place this evening, Wednesday, 12 November, from 6:00 p.m. at Penno’s Wharf, St. George’s.
Held in recognition of World Town Planning Day, this session provides an opportunity for residents, property owners, and businesses to learn more about the planning process within Bermuda’s historic Town of St. George’s.
Attendees will hear from planning professionals who will explain:
- When planning permission is required
- What information must be submitted
- Who is consulted and why
- How heritage applications are assessed
- And other key planning considerations
The event will include a short presentation followed by a question-and-answer session, providing attendees with an opportunity to engage directly with Department representatives.
The Department encourages anyone with an interest in development or preservation within St. George’s to attend and take part in this important community discussion.
