What do they do?

The Department of Education meets the needs of the Bermuda Public School System by:

  • Providing student services, a rigorous curriculum, academic support and behavioral support.
  • Supporting schools with quality teaching and learning.
  • Providing leadership for the school leaders and capacity building opportunities for the school system.
  • Improving student outcomes.

Registration for Bright Start Programme, Preschool, Primary (P1), Middle (M1/Year 7) and Senior School (Year 9 and Year10/S1) will occur on: Monday, 17 November – Friday, 28 November 2025
