Premier's Visit to Davos, Switzerland

Premier and Minister of Finance the Hon David Burt travelled to Davos, Switzerland January 21-26 2018 for a series of meetings coinciding with the 48th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting. The key objectives of the trip were to promote the advantages of Bermuda for international business, and to establish partnerships with global experts who could help to build the regulatory framework to support Bermuda’s new blockchain/cryptoasset offering.

The Premier was accompanied by Minister of National Security the Hon Wayne Caines, Sean Moran Head of Business Development at the Bermuda Business Development Agency (BDA), and the Premier's Chief of Staff Owen Darrell.
