There are procedures for correcting a birth record if you discover that an error has been made.

How to order

You can order copies of birth certificates in person at the Registry General. If you live outside of Bermuda you can order a birth certificate by completing a 

 and sending it to the Registry General.  You must pay by credit / debit card if you use a Certificate Order Form.
