Caroling Through the Parishes: Holiday Concert with the Royal Bermuda Regiment Band and the Salvation Army Band
The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport wishes to invite members of the public to enjoy an outdoor holiday concert series starting this Saturday and continuing each Saturday until Christmas at various locations around the island.
Earlier this week, the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, Owen K. Darrell, JP, praised the joint musical venture saying, “The holiday season is a time for reflection and thanksgiving amongst families in the community and I am glad that this musical offering is available for the enjoyment of all.”
These concerts are part of the Department of Culture’s Bermudian Heartbeats series which holds lectures and showcases cultural events throughout the year.”
I would especially like to encourage music lovers and parents with children to join in the caroling and holiday spirit at the various locations across the island.”
The Massed Bands will be directed by Band Officer, Lieutenant Sheldon Fox II of the Royal Bermuda Regiment.
Lieutenant Fox said, “I am delighted to be able to work with our talented musicians from both the RBR and Salvation Army to bring some Christmas cheer to the community in the buildup to the holidays this year.”
I want to also extend my sincere thanks to the Department of Culture for their generous donation to the Salvation Army Band and sponsorship of the RBR Band & Corps of Drums.”

3PM - Southampton Parish – Death Valley Playground
4PM - Warwick Parish – The Rubber Tree
Saturday, 16 December 2023
3PM - Pembroke – Parson’s Road Playground
4PM - Hamilton Parish – Shelly Bay Park
5PM - St. George’s Parish - The Town Square
Saturday, 23 December 2023
5PM – The City of Hamilton – The Cabinet Office Grounds
