The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform the motoring public that the road closure at Stokes Point Bridge bend on St. David's Road in St. George's Parish will continue through Thursday, 31 October 2024. 

This extension is necessary to complete the ongoing wall reconstruction and road improvement works in the area.

Traffic will continue to be detoured through Kindley Field Park to Wallast Point Road and Southside Road. The project's working hours are weekdays from 7.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Traffic control measures—including barricades, signs, and cones—will remain in place under the direction of Ministry representatives to ensure the safety of motorists and workers alike.

The Ministry of Public Works thanks the public for their patience and cooperation during these essential improvements.
