The Economic Development Department (EDD) is pleased to announce that the deadline to apply for reimbursement and secure a spot in the 2025 Fintech Training Programme has been extended to Thursday, 22 May 2025.

The extension gives interested applicants additional time to complete their submissions and take advantage of funding support. The Programme begins on 2 June 2025 and runs until 22 August 2025, offering a practical, accessible opportunity to gain key skills in the fintech and emerging tech sectors.

Led by the EDD in collaboration with the Department of Workforce Development (DWD), and supported by global education partners and local industry leaders, the Programme prepares participants for careers in the digital economy through three core elements:

1. A self-paced online fintech curriculum
2. Soft skills training by the DWD
3. Bi-weekly webinars with Bermuda-based fintech professionals

This year's Programme is again powered by CFTE and ViableEdu, offering expanded content and flexible learning formats.

Applicants are encouraged to take note of the updated deadlines:

• Reimbursement and Final Application Deadline: 22 May 2025
• Last Day to Start Fintech Course: 2 June 2025
• Last Day to Start DWD Modules: 9 June 2025
• Completion Deadline (All Courses): 22 August 2025
• Graduation: 29 August 2025
