The Ministry of Economy and Labour is advising the public of recent operational changes affecting the Department of Labour and the Department of Workforce Development. The advisory follows the recent relocation of the Department of Labour and the ongoing transition of the Department of Workforce Development to a new permanent location.

The Department of Labour has relocated from its former office at 23 Parliament Street and is now operating from the 3rd Floor of Sophia House, 48 Church Street, Hamilton HM 12. All services provided by the Department of Labour are now available at this location. Individuals seeking labour-related assistance are encouraged to visit the Department at Sophia House.

Additionally, the Department of Workforce Development is currently relocating. During this transition period, the Department will temporarily operate from the Department of Labour on the 3rd Floor of Sophia House, 48 Church Street.

This arrangement will remain in place while the Department of Workforce Development prepares to transition to its future home at Bermuda College, at a date to be determined.

The Ministry thanks the public for their patience during this transition and encourages anyone seeking assistance from either Department to visit the Sophia House location.

The public will be advised when the Department of Workforce Development’s relocation is complete.
