Department of Workforce Development to Temporarily Close for Relocation to Bermuda College
The Ministry of Economy and Labour advises the public that the Department of Workforce Development will be temporarily closed from today, Monday, April 13, through Wednesday, April 15, 2026, to facilitate its relocation to the Bermuda College campus.
The Department is scheduled to officially reopen on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from its new location at Bermuda College.
This brief closure is necessary to ensure the safe and efficient physical relocation of the Department, including the transportation of equipment, the setup of office space, and the installation of critical information technology and telephone systems. These measures are being undertaken to ensure all services are fully operational and clients experience a seamless transition upon reopening.
While the office will be closed to in-person services during this period, the Department will continue to monitor and respond to inquiries related to Bermuda Job Connect, ensuring continuity of support where possible.
The Ministry thanks the public for its patience and understanding as the Department undertakes this important move, which supports enhanced service delivery and strengthened collaboration with Bermuda College.
