Department of Workforce Development Announces 2026 ViableEdu Professional Development Program
The Department of Workforce Development, in collaboration with ViableEdu, invite applications for the ViableEdu Professional Development Program. Registration is open until May 4, 2026.
Now in its sixth year, the four-week virtual programme will run from June 2 to June 30, 2026, and is designed for students and early-career professionals seeking to build careers in finance and fintech.
The ViableEdu Professional Development Program delivers practical, industry-focused training in capital markets and fintech through live virtual classes, applied assignments, and direct engagement with industry experts. Participants will also benefit from weekly networking sessions and the opportunity to gain real-world insights into career pathways.
As part of the programme, participants will choose from two specialised tracks: Capital Markets and Fintech or Alternative Investing, aligning their learning with emerging opportunities in the global financial services sector.
Top-performing participants will be invited to the ViableEdu Apprenticeship Programme in July, where they will gain hands-on, project-based experience. The Department is pleased to offer this fully funded programmed at no cost to participants.
Minister of Economy and Labour, Jason Hayward, said, “This programme provides Bermudians with the skills, knowledge, and industry exposure needed to compete in high-demand sectors such as finance and fintech. It is an important initiative that supports workforce development and expands access to meaningful career opportunities.”
