Temporary closure of clinical services at the Department of Health
The Department of Health aspires to the highest standards of excellence and professionalism. In order to deliver high quality care and services, clinical and technical staff must possess knowledge and practical skills, and must deal with our clients in a compassionate, respectful and empowering manner.
In order to fulfill this mandate, the Ministry of Health and Seniors is advising the public that staff will be participating in mandatory skills-building training during the afternoons of Wednesday, 10 August, and Thursday, 11 August, 2016. As a result, the regular clinics at Hamilton Health Centre, 67 Victoria Street will not be held and the Environmental Health office at 6 Hermitage Road, Devonshire will be closed at 12:00 pm both afternoons.
The affected clinics will be the Dental, Maternal Health, Communicable Disease Control, Travel Health, Child Health, Clinical Laboratory and Senior Wellness.
All clinics and services will resume normal operating hours on Friday, 12 August, 2016.
The Ministry of Health and Seniors would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
