The Government of Bermuda, Ministry of Public Works is soliciting responses from experienced Companies to provide Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) (Pilot) proposals for the Ministry of Public Works Water and Sewage Section.
It is the intention of the Ministry of Public Works Water Section to eventually install a full scale Advanced Metering Infrastructure to manage its existing water distribution system consisting of 1074 mechanical water meters as well as monitor its well field systems consisting of 244 abstraction points.
Eventually the most successful pilot system will likely be expanded to include other Government entities which manage their own water systems
Proponents submitting a proposal for this work will be required to provide sufficient information to demonstrate their technical capability and availability to complete the scope of works and deliverables in accordance with the RFX documents and demonstrate that they have successfully provided similar services and works in the past. Submissions by Proponents who cannot demonstrate this expertise will be automatically rejected.
