Security Services for Designated Quarantine Facilities

The Ministry of National Security (MONS) Headquarters seeks qualified security contractors to work at Government designated quarantine hotels when arriving airline passengers are mandated to quarantine (where the engagement of security services are required). Some of their duties will include but are not limited to:

• Perform active security checks;
• Ensuring there is no mingling of guests (non-quarantined vs quarantine and similarly of all quarantined guests);
• Ensure there aren’t any non-guests arriving on site to mingle with the quarantined guests; and
• 24hr coverage.

The Government of Bermuda has six (6) quarantine facilities at:

• Coral Beach Hotel
• Coco Reefs Reef Resort
• Grotto Bay Beach Resort & Spa
• Hamilton Princess Hotel & Beach Club
• Rosemont Guest Suites
• Willowbank Resort.

It is the Government’s intention to enter into a contract with one (1) legal entity or more legal entities.  The term of the contract is to be for a period of six (6) months, with an option in favour of the Government to extend the contract terms and conditions acceptable to the Government and the selected respondent for an additional term of up to six (6) months.

Site Visit / Pre-Bid Meeting Details

Site Visit is Mandatory

The mandatory site visit will be held at each quarantine facility location and is scheduled for May 20, 2021 starting at 1:00pm. 

Failure to be present at the site visit and sign in will result in the disqualification of your document submission.

Late submissions will not be considered.
