Executive Summary:

The Royal Bermuda Regiment is the responsibility of the Ministry of National Security. The Royal Bermuda Regiment recruits are duty-bound to undertake an annual training exercise at a well-equipped location outside of Bermuda. To achieve this, the Royal Bermuda Regiment must obtain suitable air transportation to safely transport the troops. 

The "Deliverables" are:

Air Charter Details – Royal Bermuda Regiment

Route (Outbound): BDA to YGK (Bermuda - L.F. Wade Airport to Kingston, Jamaica - Norman Manley International Airport).

Date (Outbound): Sunday 27 April 2025

Route (Inbound): MBJ to BDA (Montego Bay, Jamaica - Sangster International Airport to Bermuda - L.F. Wade Airport).

Date (Inbound): Saturday 10 May 2025

Pax: 130 (with personal kit and equipment)

Successful proponent must be able to supply aircraft charter service return on the dates stated without variation for which there will be penalties to the service provider if the service cannot be delivered as per the contract.

Freight:

  • 10,000lbs weapons, ammunition and ancillaries. There will a requirement to move ammunition. 

Catering:

  • A meal appropriate to the time of day, with soft drinks. No alcohol

Personal equipment:

  • 200lb average weight per soldier
  • 20lb Hand Baggage

65lb Hold luggage (25lb civilian bag & 40lb Bergan incl. webbing attached or inside)
