The Department of Education is seeking a consultant to provide professional services to undertake a job evaluation project and to produce an evaluation tool. The specific focus of the project is to determine the salary and grading of job descriptions ensuring appropriate compensation levels and vertical alignment of all posts represented by the Bermuda Union of Teachers (BUT) and the Bermuda Public Service Union (BPSU) School Principals. Additionally the intent of the project is to promote best practice compensation practices that result in the hiring and retention of the highest calibre of educational professionals to the Bermuda Public Schools. This work will include the review and update all job descriptions, associated with the BUT and BPSU School Principals in alignment with best practices while maintaining positive working relations with the unions.
