Asphalt Plant Site Works
The Government of Bermuda’s Ministry of Public Works has purchased a new Asphalt Plant to be located in the Government Quarry, Hamilton Parish. The Government would like to enter into an agreement with a Contractor to prepare the Quarry site to be ready to receive the Plant and all its associated equipment.
The Contractor will be required to grade the site, install underground electrical services, install cast in place concrete footings and bunded concrete containment areas, weigh scale supports, silo footings, equipment pads and other civil and electrical works items as detailed in these documents.

Interested parties are invited to respond to this RFP by submitting a response to the Ministry of Public Works, Head Office (hand-delivered, regular mail or email submissions are acceptable) located at:

Responses should be labelled “RFP – PN/2024-002-Q-AP” and include a statement of interest and information as requested in the description of requirements and output.

Site Visit / Pre-Bid Meeting Details
Pre- Bid meeting and Site Visit
The bidder’s designated representative is invited to attend a pre-bid meeting, if provided for; the purpose of the meeting will be to clarify issues and to answer questions on any matter that may be raised at that stage of the procurement. If so provided for, the Government will organize a site visit.
The bidder is requested, as far as possible, to submit any questions in writing, to reach the RFP Contact not later than one week before the meeting.
Non-attendance at the pre-bid meeting will not be a cause for disqualification of a bidder.
